The Artist Behind the Ducks

Facundo Yebne, originally from Argentina and now based in Miami, is both a thriving serial entrepreneur and a rising artist. After studying under master painter Jack Amoroso, Yebne discovered a passion for visual storytelling. His art focuses on resin ducks—both solid and glow-in-the-dark—as a playful yet meaningful medium to create sculptural mosaics and mixed media works.

Yebne’s creations explore themes of nostalgia, pop culture, and universal connection. From reimagining Pac-Man’s iconic characters to a vibrant portrayal of Bart Simpson, his pieces celebrate American culture while reflecting on consumerism and modern society. Incorporating symbolic motifs like hearts, peace signs, and American flags, Yebne’s work invites viewers to connect with cultural nostalgia in new ways.

Glow-in-the-dark elements add a transformative layer to his art, encouraging interaction and evoking curiosity. His ability to balance joy with thoughtful storytelling resonates across generations, sparking both smiles and meaningful conversations.

Why Ducks?
Have you ever encountered an unhappy duck? These whimsical creatures, in all their charming forms—be it flesh, ceramic, rubber, or canvas—seem to defy gloom. Ducks have always fascinated me with their universal charm, becoming symbols of joy, nostalgia, and expression across cultures and generations.

From the first rubber duck that splashed in our childhood baths to the collectibles we treasure today, ducks weave themselves into our personal histories. I think that Ducks are so much more than objects, they are happy memory makers, conversation starters, and tiny vessels of sentiment, and they were my light at the end of the tunel.

In my art, I transform ducks into vibrant canvases that celebrate their charm and universal appeal. Ducks are my voice, my story, and my way of connecting with people on a deeply nostalgic and joyful level. Through my creations, I invite you to reflect on life’s simple pleasures and discover the lighthearted nostalgia that ducks bring to us all.
