Studio Visit at 5445 Collins Ave: How to See FLY Miami Pieces in Person

Photographs only carry so much of a FLY Miami Art piece. The glow only switches on with the right light. The hand finished surface only reads up close. The studio at 5445 Collins Ave in Miami Beach is where collectors, press, and curious visitors get the full experience.

Where the studio is

The studio sits at 5445 Collins Ave in Miami Beach, Florida. It is a few blocks from Lincoln Road, a short walk from the public installations UnityBeak and Proud Love, and minutes from the Miami Beach Convention Center.

How to book a visit

Visits are by appointment. The fastest way to set one up is through the Contact page on flymiami.art. Include the date window you have in mind, the size of your group, and whether you are visiting as a collector, press, or general visitor.

Most visits are scheduled within a few business days of the request. The studio tries to accommodate same week visits when production schedules allow.

What a visit looks like

A typical studio visit runs about 45 minutes. The visitor walks the space, sees works in progress, and views finished originals under both daylight and blacklight conditions. For collectors interested in a specific piece, more time is set aside to discuss provenance, sizing, and shipping.

Combining the visit with the public installations

The most useful visit pairs the studio with a short walk on Lincoln Road. Seeing UnityBeak and Proud Love in their permanent locations and then seeing the same hand at work in the studio is the cleanest way to understand the practice.

The walk between the two takes about ten minutes at an easy pace.

Press and group visits

Press visits are welcome and can include access to in progress work and quotes from Facundo. Group visits for collectors, design firms, and cultural organizations are accommodated by request. Larger groups should plan two weeks ahead.

Parking and access

Street parking is available on Collins Ave and the surrounding blocks. Several Miami Beach municipal garages are within walking distance. Rideshare drop off works well at the address.

What to do after

Most studio visits end with a short walk to Lincoln Road for the public installations and a coffee at one of the cafes nearby. Bring a phone with a flashlight if you want to see the UV reactive layers on smaller test pieces.

Peace. Love. Joy. Unity.
