Facun-Duck
Inspired by a French sailor rubber duck, this piece is composed of more than 6,100 tiny resin ducks arranged into a striking mosaic portrait. What began as a playful subject gradually evolved into a self-portrait of the artist during the process of creation. The figure, with its striped sailor shirt, beret, and mustache, is set against a lively seascape of sky, sun, and waves, blending humor, identity, and cultural reference.
The work features both solid and glow-in-the-dark ducks. When exposed to UV light, the figure transforms into a radiant, glowing presence that fills the entire room, shifting the piece from a playful surface image into an immersive, luminous environment.
